Now for the hard stuff:
I don't like to spend alot of time reading DOCS, much less writing them
so I will be as quick and painless as I can for both of our sakes.
Its realy very easy.
===============================================================================
INSTALATION:
1. Put all the files in the same directory as your nodelist.
2. Run PCBSetup
3. Select "(M)" Conferences" then select your Netmail Conference.
4. Hit Page Down and go to the field that reads "Conf-Specific CMD.LST File".
Type the full path and file name of the CMD.LST
For example mine reads "C:\PCB\FIDO\CMD.LST"
5. Press F2 to edit the file, if you need a blank line push "ALT -I"
6. You should see the see somthing like below
CHARGE PER PPE/MENU FILE SPECIFICATION -OR-
COMMAND SEC MINUTE USE KEYSTROKE SUBSTITUTION
========== === =========== ================================
(In mine I have the following information)
FIND 110 0 0 C:\PCB\FIDO\NODELIST\NODESRCH.PPE
Command: is the name or keystroke to start the .PPE I don't reccomend using
the letter "E" because it is the one to enter messages. The way this is
setup you wont have to enter "E" from within the program.
7. Now just exit and save PCBSetup, and restart your BBS to have it take
effect!
8. Edit the .cfg file using any text editor instructions are in the file.

OPERATION
The first time you run Node Search you must compile the index! You can do
this whenever the nodelist is updated or just do it once, its your choice!
Creating the Index.
a. To do this select your Netmail conference and type the command to start
the .ppe.
b. Type "R" and the index will be created (this could take a few minutes
depending on the size of your nodelist).
c. It will return you to the menu when the Index is completed.
Searching the nodelist
a. Type "S" and it will ask you for the name to search for, enter the name
of the person you are looking for and hit enter.
b. if the name is correct but the address is wrong then hit "N" and will
continue untill it finds the right one or it hits the end of the nodelist.
c. When it finds the one you want then hit "Y" and it will insert the name
and address in the "TO" field of the message and allow you to continue as
normal.
